I didn't want artblog to be a burden during my honeymoon in San Fran, but I wanted to do art, so I made a log of moments. That way, I could remember little memories far longer. They started out all being done that day/next morning, but as the week wore on, more and more they were done a few days past from notes. I finished on July first. Although this is on three pages in my notebook, I split it into six images for loading purposes, so some frames may not stack as well as in my book

I am very happy with this one. The joke is a twist on something from... Baby Blues I think, where gun toys weren't allowed, but the kids used a teddy bear as a pretend gun anyway

There's underwear out there with a carbon filter to absorb heine emissions. So I twisted it to underwear that makes (carbon) copies. La-de-dah

What'd Mopey look like with... a 'rfo?

Must've been upset at a kid...

Mopey, normally rounded, now squared

Aiyana has very sharp, Japanese knives. Sometimes they bit her.

The last of the previously uncolored scans

I don't recall, but we may've had a power outage this day

Scanned in before, and colored before. This one is taller than most, but that's how scans are - they equalize the size of everything

Also scanned in uncolored previously

OK. The start of another 3month backlog of art. Whenever I do this, I go into color mode. Things I wouldn't've colored I do because I feel guilty about not getting stuff up earlier and I want to make it better. This and a few other pieces were actually scanned in in B&W but hadn't been uploaded.

Inspired by the previous day's artblog. Yesterday's was suppossed to be hopeful. This one less so.

Didn't consider the size of my scanner when I got my latest sketchbook, so I have to hold the pages at weird angles to scan. Sometimes, like with this, you get a bit of shade on the edge because I scanned poorly

After watching The Orphanage. So cruel...
