Another dead tired sketch
Uploading this, I realized how funny it is that I do such fast sketches, not caring about straight lines, and then try to color them in extremely carefully, staying in those wobbly.
Fell asleep at the TV. Woke up, got sketchbook. Fell asleep at sketchbook. Twice. Did something extremely fast, slept. More than once I've used the watercolors to save sketches done in this manner.
I like this one a lot. The art has a bit to be desired (the foot size keeps changing and the fire is just a quick 'this is fire' line) but it expresses Mopey's lot in life so well. Heeheehee
He really should have left his bobble in there...
This will probably make my brother do a double take. I used two of his characters and two of his themes in this comic. Moon baby and the Sven blocks both come from his recent explorations into stopmo. If you look through Scarlet Star, you'll see Love and The Moon constantly show up in his work (well, at least I think they do). Pardon any off character sheet drawings, I didn't look up what they looked like before I started drawing.
I like the idea, but the guy just gains weight in the second half. I like that first panel a lot though.
Another unscripted comic sequence. The lack of ruler Really Shows :P I like the idea though. Again, started with panel one not knowing what would come in panel two.
Decided I needed to do more, and importantly - longer, comics. Writing up a big script and getting out rulers and special paper make me clam up, so I'm drawing without script or ruler in my sketchbook. Starting with panel one and figuring it out one panel at a time. (I didn't know the end til I got to panel 5 or 6)
He looks like various manga designs. I hope I didn't subconciously steal him. Ah well, don't expect to see him again.
It looks like he's holding a flag, but it's an ax. I don't know why.

Got tired extremely quickly, so I knocked out this fast. Art is crap, but as a true story, it works ok as 4 panels.

At the New Year's bash I was at, a friend gave me water and asked if I was going to turn it into wine. The strip above is what went through my head after that (or a variation).
