I often have trouble coming up with ideas. For this day, I first drew an uneven grid of panels. I then took a giant book on fashion and opened it to random pages and did quick sketchs in each panel.

Done with Aiyana at a Mongolian BBQ

Subpar robot. I came in later to do a base, but with a thin tipped pen. Looking back now, it looks like a burger for a head

Comic game with Zoe, done at the Broadway Cafe

So, the body is shell like... but if you follow the neck up... so is the head?

It was valentine's. Had to be cute.

Soundstage! HAHAHAHA!!!!

...because even the queen of England...

This guy is like an excited little dog

This guy. I love him. He's so different from my other beasties

This beasty works

And this speaks of my frustrations. This page of the sketchbook also has three empty panels. I had nothing to put in them.

This strip works, but what next? I had the other Fez idea. I thought I could wimp out in the 7th strip by paralleling the first one, and have just the toy, then have it fall over. It didn't work. I dropped it.

Now I'm thinking: 'do four one-week strips' since I have so few ideas for this tin toy. There'd be another strip to go with this one of a whole party of aliens wearing Fezes (Fez. Fezi. Fezs. Fesses. ...?), the tin toy rolls through, and the last panel is someone yelling 'Fezes are out of style!' and everyone throwing them on the ground and walking away

Well, this beasty doesn't know what to make of it either. This didn't work, so I did another one (see above)

ok. I had wanted to do a month long strip in February again. Only one problem: no idea this time. Tired, I drew this to start with. What could it lead to?
